Description: In two three- and four-week volunteer camps, 14 volunteers from seven different countries supported an Estonian Ecovillage. The Ecovillage offers immersive experiences, courses and workshops on different aspects of sustainability. The volunteers experienced a sustainable way of living, helped renovate facilities and contributed to creating a more biodiverse environ- ment in the orchards, park and permaculture-inspired garden.

Description: The Nature Photo Labyrinth project aims to spread knowledge about climate change issues, causes and prevention measures through game-based teaching. It will develop an interactive digital tool that combines nature photography and a virtual labyrinth to create a very unique learning experience. The project will create a mobile application and interactive online platform in English, Estonian and Finnish as well as a special training course to help create outdoor activities and games based on nature and climate change.

Inspired! Youth event on climate change

Description: Young climate activists across Europe were invited to join a youth event on climate change in Tallinn, Estonia and via Zoom. During the event young people and climate activists shared stories and inspiration of action. Various hybrid workshops were led by young people and brought together young people from across Europe who were active in their communities through DEAR projects or other initiatives. The sessions focused on a wide range of topics from tackling food waste and fast fashion to taking legal action for climate justice and co-creating good climate policies. The event concluded with a joint action on the COP27 UN Climate Change Conference.

Description: Recirculate Plastic aimed to educate people about plastic pollution problems, recy- cling options and up-cycling. The one-year project allowed European volunteers to explore the world of plastic recycling. The project was based on a series of workshops on a range of recycling methods and techniques as well as topics such as sustainability and resource efficiency.
