Description: In August 2021, over 30 young people came together to learn about environmental protection in different countries and how art can help to express the importance of this topic. The goals of the project were – to show how art can be used for youth activism and discuss important topics with a focus on environment protection; – to give tools to youth from five different countries that would empower them to bring change to their local communities; – to share with 30 young people and group leaders how recycling and upcycling can help produce less waste and use resources in a better way, while helping them share these results with their peers and other young people in their local communities.

We Are All Made Out Of Mud (WaaMooM)

Project: International youth exchange / capacity building project (two years)

Organisations: PVN (Albania), Nesto Više (Bosnia and Herzegovina), Velebitska udruga Kuterevo (Croatia), ZMAG (Croatia), SCI France, GAIA (Kosovo), ADP ZID (Montenegro), Klub finih zanata (Serbia), Institut Veles (Slovenia), Buğday Association (Türkiye) Description: The main topic of the project is natural (or eco) construction as an innovative approach to social cohesion and inclusion, gender equity, development and youth empower- ment. The project teaches natural construction techniques and different ways to engage and learn through them. It also combines youth work, volunteering aspects and existing tools and methods for inclusion and development of skills, knowledge and attitudes.
