Groundwork is a federation of charities mobilising prac- tical community action on poverty and the environment across the UK. In 2021, Groundwork published a report about youth and climate change (“What do young people really think about climate change?”). The report is based on focus groups and a survey of 500 young people. It explores young people’s views on climate change, what they want to see from the transition to a low carbon society, and how they would like to be involved.

The Climate Coalition is the UK’s largest group dedi- cated to action against climate change. It unites over 140 organisations (including Black2Nature, Create The Future, Surfers Against Sewage, Teach The Future, UK Youth Climate Coalition, Young Climate Warriors, The Ernest Cook Youth Green Influencers Scheme, Global Action Plan UK (Transform Our World)) and is 22 million voices strong.

CILL is an association of professionals from different backgrounds and with complementary knowledge and expertise, who share a belief that “internationality” is the key to success in the modern world – whether for indi- viduals, organisations or whole communities. The organ - isation’s mission is to promote and encourage interna- tional thinking, values and skills. The aim is to provide high quality services that achieve this. Among others, CILL convenes discussions, information forums and other activities on the future of international mobility to explore ways of ensuring that young people from the UK and other countries continue to benefit from international mobility also in the wake of the UK’s withdrawal from Erasmus+ and the European Solidarity Corps.

(Romania), Mother Flower (Slovakia), Diyarbakir Cevre ve Kalkinma Dernegi (Türkiye), Exploring, Experience and Expression EXP (United Kingdom) Description: The project “Back To Green Land” lasted a total of ten months (from May 2019 to March 2020), with a period of eight days dedicated to the activities. Project activities were imple- mented in Kangerlussuaq, Greenland. The idea and initiative of “Back to Green Land” originated with young people who raised awareness amongst their peers about existing climate change and strengthened their realisation of how this significant threat is facing the entire planet. The project stimulated young people to understand the importance of protection in small communi- ties whilst becoming globally aware of environmental issues. The methods underlying the activ- ities of this youth exchange came from the non-formal education field and assured that the desired results would be obtained through the project.
