customers (as of 2/26/2025). We have plans to add even more locations, and we are connecting with new customers every day. When we asked President, CEO, and Chairman of the Board, Jack Harrell, III, to share his vision for Harrell’s in 2025, this is what he had to say,

Our Recent Growth and a Look Ahead

“After a tremendous year in 2024, we are poised for another great year in 2025. We have added over 30 reps in the last two years and many in areas where we have not been historically. We have also already added 7 new reps in the first 2 months of 2025 in markets that we are currently not in. We are expecting solid organic growth in our legacy markets in golf and ornamentals. Our intentional push in the lawncare market will continue again this year as we saw the largest percentage growth in new customers in that segment last year at 13%. All of these things should work to power our growth in all markets and segments in our industry.” We are thankful for where we have been, proud of the strides we have taken, and looking forward to what is yet to come in 2025 and beyond for Harrell’s. We will have plenty more growth updates and a greater look ahead at our 2025 ESOP meeting this coming July, but until then, and as always, thank you for being the BEST TEAM in the industry and for everything that you do.

By Mike Hess In 2024, our company made incredible strides on all fronts, from record- breaking sales to all-new locations, reps, territory managers, and sales directors helping to bring Harrell’s resources to areas of the country that were previously unreached. This incredible growth is thanks to all our departments and people working together and offering best-in-class support to the markets we service. Growing a Better World is not just a tagline, it is a way of life for Harrell’s! Since December, we have hired 3 new sales directors and 6 new territory managers, continuing our expansion with plans to add more additions to our current team of 135 reps, in the coming months. We currently have 501 employee-owners across the country and around the world working out of 30 physical locations, and we serve 10,024 active

Ask The Experts – Spring is Here!

By Jeff Atkinson Depending on where you call home, spring flowers may be popping up or your ground might still be frozen. In either case, the growing season is right around the corner and your lawn will soon wake up from its winter slumber. Ensuring your turf has the food – aka fertility – it needs and that undesirable grassy weeds are prevented from establishing are two steps you can take to set your lawn up to be the envy of your neighbors in the coming months. Keeping Your Grass Well-Fed Just like humans, turf needs adequate food to grow, develop, and thrive. This is especially true when turf wakes up from winter dormancy. A Harrell’s fertilizer blend including around 25% quick-release nitrogen combined with around 75% POLYON is a great option to get your turf off to a great start. Using Herbicides While proper nutrition is the foundation for a healthy lawn, limiting competition from weeds is a key strategy for maintaining a uniform, dense turf stand. This can be done with herbicides. Herbicides generally fall into two main groups, preemergence or postemergence. Preemergence herbicides control weeds before they establish while postemergence herbicides control weeds after establishment. Both types of herbicides are effective; however, generally, it is easier and requires fewer applications to control weeds before they can establish. Conveniently, many Harrell’s fertilizer blends are available, including a preemergence herbicide active ingredient sparged, or coated, on the fertilizer blend. This allows for a convenient and efficient way to provide turfgrass fertility and weed control in a single application. If you’re curious how you can level up your lawn this season, we are fortunate to be surrounded by a team of turfgrass experts to help solve any turfgrass-related issue you might face! Good luck this season keeping your lawn green and weed-free.

March Office Safety

Office Safety

Handling Workplace Injuries/Accidents Workplace injuries can happen to anyone , regardless of job title. They can also happen at any time during the working day, so it is important to be prepared on how to handle these situations properly in a timely manner. Please see the steps laid out below that should be followed when a workplace injury/accident takes place. Procedure 1. Workplace Injury/Accident takes place. • Can be any of the following but not limited to; body part caught in office equipment, slip/trip/fall, etc. 2. Determine the severity of the injury/accident and what care is needed. • Emergency services should be called immediately if employees are in potential life threating situations. Examples: Obvious broken bone , loss of consciousness, loss of a body part , etc. • MedCor (Triage Nurse) should be called in situations that are not immediate emergencies such

as twisted ankles, hurt backs, etc. MedCor will advise what type of treatment is needed. • Please contact Noah Nulph (863-400- 5374) ASAP in these situations. He will call MedCor with the injured worker. • All employees getting outside treatment should have a Worker’s Compensation Info Card sent with them if the injury is work - related.

3. Report injury/accident to Compliance (Safety). • For reporting and handling purposes, Compliance (Safety/Risk Services) needs to be aware of injuries/accidents immediately. 4. Drug test and paperwork needed. • Most workplace injuries/accidents require a post drug test for all employees involved. Compliance (Safety) can assist with setting this up. • An Accident/Illness Report needs completed by the employee’s supervisor and sent back to Compliance as soon as time allows. • Any pictures or other information gathered is important to provide as well

• Please contact Compliance (Safety/Risk Services) with any questions regarding the above procedure.
