Purpose of Job: The role will be responsible for developing and co- ordinating all wellbeing initiatives, leading on the Buddy Up Scheme and wellbeing events across halls, overseeing the wellbeing budget and ensuring student reps are supported throughout the academic year. The post holder will be responsible for the training and co- ordination of 2 x Senior Reps and 18 x Hall Reps (Art - sTemps). Although the role will be normal office work - ing hours some events will require weekend or evening work agreed in advance. Duties and Responsibilities • To collaborate with the Student Experience Man- ager, Events Officer and Events Administrator in the planning and delivery of the events programme. • To manage the wellbeing events programme in- cluding its use across all marketing collateral both internal and external including a long-term devel- opment plan. • To coordinate, support and develop the student Senior Reps and Hall Reps by communicating reg - ularly, holding regular one-to-one’s, delivering training, acting on feedback, coordinating working hours and providing advice. • To support with communication platforms such as Discord and liaise with marketing on senior rep du - ties in regards to social media • Work directly with the Accommodation Services Department Communications and Marketing Team to coordinate marketing campaigns for wellbeing across multiple platforms including; email, social media, web, print, digital screens and all other dig- ital platforms. • To write award bids and proposals in order to get the Social Programme recognition ie CUBO Awards. • To assist in building and carrying out a wellbeing strategy through competitive research, platform determination, benchmarking and audience iden - tification.
• To produce monthly wellbeing reports detailing au- dience engagement across events and the Buddy up Scheme and suggestions for future improve - ments. • To support the Events Administrator with event enquires through multiple contact methods includ - ing; email, telephone, web and social media. • To develop a Social Programme and Wellbeing campaigns calendar alongside the Student Experi- ence Manager, Events Officer and Communications and Marketing Manager. • To oversee the wellbeing budget including; month - ly reporting, invoices, new suppliers, refund re - quests, purchasing and expenses. • To manage wellbeing campaigns and new initia - tives (ie: recruitment) to support the work of the Student Experience team. • To identify and select through recruitment and in - terview a pool of student reps and advocates to work across the university. • To support colleagues in the Student Experience team and to assist in developing an ongoing train- ing and development programme for reps and ad- vocates. • To communicate efficiently with university depart - ments and key team members to ensure that a co- ordinated and efficient service is provided. • To work in collaboration with other teams across UAL (i.e. Internal Communications, Student Servic - es, Students’ Union) • Occasionally work events which may be out of hours including both evenings and weekends. • To perform such duties consistent with your role as may from time to time be assigned to you any - where within the University. • To undertake health and safety duties and respon - sibilities appropriate to the role. • To work in accordance with the University’s Digni- ty at Work policy and the Staff Charter, promoting equality and diversity in your work.
