The Official OKC Visitors Guide 2023

Tap Into Local Brews Oklahoma City’s craft beer scene is diverse and thriving! Whether you prefer an incredible IPA, a tangy sour, a delicious lager or a crisp cider, OKC has the brews to quench your thirst.

IPAS IPAs are super popular across the United States. If IPAs are your thing (we know they are), then you’ll love Skydance Brewing Co. and Anthem Brewing. Skydance is a Native-owned brewery that releases a new beer every week and always has TONS of IPAs on their menu. Anthem’s taproom is one of the biggest in the metro area and offers the best Double IPA you’ll ever try. Aromatic and hoppy, these IPAs are worth the drive.

SOURS Sour beers have also become popular in recent years. Vanessa House Beer Co. , located in historic Automobile Alley, is the perfect place to sip on a sour while enjoying their throwback games and decor. If you’re on the north side of the city, then Roughtail Brewing is the place to be. With a massive lineup of craft beers, including several sours, you’re sure to find a beer that tickles your fancy. LAGERS & PILSNERS If you’re in the mood for something light and refreshing, then we’ve got you covered. Lively Beerworks and Angry Scotsman offer up loads of flavor in their lighter beers. Plus, since they’re within walking distance, you can hop from one to the other with friends and take in all these breweries have to offer. STOUTS From the dark and dank to the syrupy sweet and everything in between, the diversity of our city’s stout scene is quite amazing. Prairie Artesian Ales exploded onto the stout scene with their internationally-acclaimed imperial stout, Prairie Bomb, and continue to crank out

mind-altering stout variants to this day. Elk Valley almost always has something dark lurking on their taps. Many of their taproom offerings are very small-batch, and always a joy to explore. While Stonecloud makes a mean lite beer, their heavy-hitting barrel-aged stouts are sought after by locals and visitors alike. CIDERS & SELTZERS Not in the mood for a beer? You’ll wanna check out OK Cider Co. and Coop Ale Works . Tim at OK Cider Co. brews up ciders in the styles of beer. That means more than a dozen ciders on their board every day that are crisp, refreshing and delicious. Coop Ale Works is home to the famous Sonic Seltzers. Grab a pint or a 12-pack to go. You won’t be disappointed.

Visit OKC and Homeland partnered to create the Modern Frontier Beer which rotates seasonal flavors and is produced by local craft brewers. Check Homeland grocery stores for the latest volume while you’re in town!
