Diamond Ballroom. Established in 1964, the Diamond Ballroom is an all-ages concert venue featuring rock, country, hip-hop and everything in between. Widely ranked as one of the top 100 small venues in the world, it’s a must-see space when your favorite artist is in town. The Diamond Ballroom is located off I-240 and S. Eastern Ave. in South Oklahoma City and offers free parking at its events. Beer City Music Hall. Oklahoma City’s newest live music venue, Beer City Music Hall, sits at the corner of N. Blackwelder Ave. and NW 5th Street next to Fair-Weather Friend Brewery, hence the name of the establishment. This 500-seat venue is slated to be OKC’s next hot live music space and has already gathered an impressive lineup of performers.
Tower Theatre. The historic Tower Theatre opened in 1937 and is one of Oklahoma City’s last original movie houses with an intact auditorium and iconic neon marquee. After many years of movie premieres and historic runs of classic films, the Tower Theatre closed in 1989. In 2017, it returned as a live music, movie and event venue in the heart of OKC’s Uptown 23rd Street district, seating over 1,100 people and routinely featuring an eclectic selection of artists encompassing most music genres. The Jones Assembly. “The Jones” as it’s commonly referred to locally, is a 1,600-seat modern restaurant, bar and music venue. As one of the crown jewels of Oklahoma City’s West Village, The Jones Assembly opened its doors in July 2017 on historic Film Row and
instantly changed how Oklahoma City spends its days and nights, transforming from a restaurant by day into a lively concert venue by night. Featuring performances from national recording artists to their weekly house music, The Jones Assembly routinely offers a stacked lineup that anyone can enjoy. 51st Street Speakeasy. If you’re looking for a local spot with weekly live music, look no further than the 51st Street Speakeasy. The bar has been a mecca for local music lovers and bar enthusiasts with blues night every Tuesday, jazz night every Wednesday and both touring and local bands filling up the weekends. Offering a full dance floor upstairs, large outdoor patio and a full food and drink menu, 51st Street Speakeasy is the place to be for low-key fun.
