3. Open House . Food trucks may be utilized by a developer, builder and/or real estate agent in a residential zoning district in conjunction with a promotional event for a subdivision, development, or residential units.

ii . Commonly Owned Property in Residential Zoning Districts. In residential zoning districts, food trucks are permitted on commonly owned property within a residential development in order to serve residents and guests at a neighborhood activity or function. iii. Special Events . Food trucks may operate outside of the standard requirements for food trucks when in compliance with the applicable procedures per §9-1255 Use Standards, p. Miscellaneous Uses, (10) Special Events.

Commercial Kitchen

A. Commercial Kitchen . A kitchen for use by a food truck, wholesale cooking, centralized operation, virtual kitchen, prep kitchen, delivery-only restaurant, or catering company. Commercial kitchens may be designed to host several businesses or be solo kitchens and shall be licensed by state and local health authorities, as applicable. i. Vehicle Storage . All vehicles/equipment and materials shall be parked/located in the rear or side yard of the principal building. If the vehicles/equipment is parked in the side yard of the principal building, the vehicles/equipment shall be parked in the back 50% of the side yard. In no case shall vehicles/equipment be parked in the front of the principal building facing a public right-of-way. ii. Vehicle Service . Commercial kitchens located in the Research Light Industrial (RLI) zoning district may be permitted to install facilities for food truck servicing such as electricity hookups, cleaning and sanitation areas, water and propane refills, and greywater, grease, and solid waste disposal facilities.

iii. Without Food Truck Service & Storage . Kitchens may store one (1) vehicle for use by the business (food truck or delivery vehicle).

(4) Food Truck Campus . A permanent outdoor facility for use by multiple rotating food trucks. Food Truck Campuses shall be licensed by state and local health authorities, as applicable, and shall be designed to host multiple non-permanent food trucks under the following standards:
