parked in the back 50% of the side yard. In no case shall vehicles/equipment be parked in the front of the principal building facing a public right-of-way.

ii. Vehicle Service . Commercial kitchens located in the Research Light Industrial (RLI) zoning district may be permitted to install facilities for food truck servicing such as electricity hookups, cleaning and sanitation areas, water and propane refills, and greywater, grease, and solid waste disposal facilities.

iii. Without Food Truck Service & Storage . Kitchens may store one (1) vehicle for use by the business (food truck or delivery vehicle).

(4) Food Truck Campus . A permanent outdoor facility for use by multiple rotating food trucks. Food Truck Campuses shall be licensed by state and local health authorities, as applicable, and shall be designed to host multiple non-permanent food trucks under the following standards:

A. Location Standards . Food truck campuses shall only be located in nonresidential zoning districts, except as otherwise permitted in the Land Development Ordinance, on a private lot containing a principal building, herein as follows:

i. Right-of-Way. Food trucks operating within a food truck campus shall not be located within any public right-of-way.

ii. Parking Surface . Food trucks operating within a food truck campus shall be located on an improved surface to include but not limited to asphalt, concrete, or similar paved surface. The use of gravel as an improved surface is prohibited.

iii. Maximum Number of Food Trucks . A maximum of six (6) food trucks may operate concurrently at a food truck campus.

iv. Pedestrian Safety & Vehicle Movement. Food trucks shall not be located on a Town street or any private parking area in a manner that impedes, endangers, or interferes with pedestrian or vehicular traffic, nor shall they encroach upon fire lanes. v. Location Requirements . Food trucks operating within a food truck campus shall be located a minimum distance of 15 feet from the edge of any driveway or public sidewalks, utility box or vaults, handicapped ramp, building entrance, exit or emergency access/exit, emergency call box or fire hydrant.
