ii. The use of search lights, laser lighting, or lights included in i. above, used for advertising or corporate promotion purposes.

iii. Exceptions.

1. Temporary lighting associated with a holiday, festival, or other seasonal use.

2. Blinking or flashing lights that are required as a safety feature (e.g. beacons on towers).

3. Government use lighting installed for the benefit of public health, safety, and welfare.

4. Lighting that has been permitted or otherwise approved by the Town Manager or their designee through an administrative adjustment per Article Q Procedures & Administration, §9-1808 Common Application Procedures, a. Administrative Adjustment, or in conjunction with a permitted special event.

d. Window Treatment. The following standards shall apply to windows within building types regulated by the Article:

(1) Window Tint . The use of tinted street-level windows shall not exceed 25 percent (25%) opacity in commercial zoning districts.

(2) Overhead Doors . Full-view overhead doors for the purpose of creating an indoor/outdoor space may be installed on front or side facades as a window treatment option. Overhead doors for any other purpose shall only be permitted on the side or rear façade. Screening for overhead doors shall be in accordance with Article N Parking, Loading & Lighting Design Standards §9-1663 Off-Street Loading Standards, a. Off-Street Loading Standards, (1) Location, D. Screening of Visible Loading Areas.

e. Signs. All signage shall conform to the sign regulations in accordance with Article L Signs.
