to the boundary of the subdivision or development planned or installed by a previously approved, but un-built development or existing subdivision or development.
b. Streets & Pedestrian Classifications
(1) Comprehensive Transportation Plan . The Comprehensive Transportation Plan identifies the classification of streets for the purpose of determining the appropriate design and required rights-of-way. Street classifications shall be consistent with the Town Standard Specifications and Construction Details. (2) Fuquay-Varina Pedestrian Plan . The Fuquay-Varina Pedestrian Plan identifies the location and types of pedestrian travel and access required to interface with the Comprehensive Transportation Plan in the Town’s corporate limits and extraterritorial jurisdiction. (3) Street Classifications . The classifications for thoroughfares, streets, alleys and the like are defined in accordance with Article S Interpretations & Definitions, and are listed from highest design traffic capacity to the lowest as follows:
A. Expressway, Type 10 i. 10.6.1 B. Boulevard/Parkway, Type 9
i. 9.4.5 ii. 9.4.4 iii. 9.4.3 iv. 9.4.2 (120’ right -of-way only) v. 9.4.1
C. Major Thoroughfare, Type 9 i. 9.2.3 ii. 9.2.2 iii. 9.2.1 D. Collector, Type 8 i. 8.2.1 ii. 8.2.1a iii. 8.2.2 E. Types 2-7 F. Type 1
