(34) LOT LINE, FRONT. The term defining the lot line, measured along the street right-of- way boundary on which the lot or structure faces and may have vehicular access from. If the lot has more than one (1) lot line along a street right-of-way, such as a corner lot and double frontage lots, then only one (1) lot line of a lot shall be deemed the front lot line. (35) LOT LINE, REAR. The term defining the line of a lot, which is opposite or approximately opposite, and most distant, from the front lot line. In the case of a corner lot, any lot line that intersects with a front lot line shall not be considered a rear lot line. (36) LOT LINE, SIDE. The term defining any lot line not designated a front lot line and rear lot line. A side lot line adjacent to a street is a corner side lot line and a side lot line separating a lot from another lot is an interior side lot line. (37) LOT OF RECORD. The term defining a lot which is a part of a subdivision or plat of which has been recorded in the office of the Register of Deeds of Wake County, or a lot described by metes and bounds, the description of which has been so recorded.

(38) LOT WIDTH. The term defining the length of the principal frontage line of a lot measured as the horizontal distance between side lot lines.

(39) LOW-DENSITY PROJECT (Stormwater Management) . The term defining a project that has no more than two (2) dwelling units per acre or twenty-four percent (24%) built- upon areas (BUA). (40) LOWEST ADJACENT GRADE (LAG) (Flood Damage Prevention). The term defining the lowest elevation of the ground, sidewalk, or patio slab immediately next to the building, or deck support, after completion of the building or structure. (41) LOWEST FLOOR (Flood Damage Prevention). The term defining the lowest floor of the lowest enclosed area (including basement). An unfinished or floor resistant enclosure, usable solely for parking of vehicles, building access, or storage in an area other than a basement area is not considered a bu ilding’s lowest floor provided that such enclosure is not built so as to render the structure in violation of the applicable non-elevation design requirements of the Land Development Ordinance. (42) LUMBER PRODUCTS & TREATMENT. A facility where raw lumber is milled and sized producing a finished wood product, and/or the treatment of lumber with chemical products to preserve the lumber from weathering and/or insects.
