B. The application of an overlay district or a conditional zoning district.
The term does not include:
A. The initial adoption of a zoning map by a local government;
B. The repeal of a zoning map and readoption of a new zoning map for the entire planning and development regulation jurisdiction, or;
C. Updating the zoning map to incorporate amendments to the names of zoning districts made by zoning text amendments where there are no changes in the boundaries of the zoning district or land uses permitted in the district.
(8) ZONING VESTED RIGHT. The term defining the right to undertake and complete the development and use of property under the terms and conditions of an approved site- specific vesting plan designation.” Typically, an approved site -specific vesting plan designation is, but may not be limited to, a preliminary subdivision plan, site plan, or construction drawings. (9) ZONING VIOLATION . The term defining where a use, building, setback, height, or operation is proposed or established within a zoning district that does not comply with the common or uniform standards established by such zoning district shall be considered a zoning violation that shall be abated in accordance with Article R Violations, Penalties & Legal Provisions.
(10) ZOO/ZOOLOGICAL GARDEN. The term defining a public park or large enclosure where live animals are kept for display to the public.
