It was truly refreshing to hear these two outstanding leaders in the first ranks of the Christian Church give such ringing testimony to their firm adherence to the fundamentals of the faith. Dr. Morgan surely was never stronger in his outspoken declarations concerning the essentials of Christian life and hope. Dr. Holden, who visited the Pacific Coast for the first time, made a deep and lasting impression upon all those who came under the influence of his earnest words. Not alone did the fragrance of his personal life and influence make its appeal, but the clear, uncompromising way in which he set forth the essentials of a living faith, and his ringing challenge to a clear realization of these things in individual lives. Just aS we are going to press wesBearn that Dr. G. Campbell Morgan has acceptellthe invitation of the Bible Institute of Los Angeles to become a permanent member of the faculty. •’£his gives to the Institute and its students the influence and guidance of one jvhb:is generally con­ ceded to be the greatest expositor of the Bible in the English speaking world. In making this gratifying announcement, the Bible Institute declares its purpose to. share Dr. Morgan’s ser­ vices with Christian churches everywhere, so far as this niayt-be possible.

Tuesday—The Second Interpretation. Wednesday—The Ultimate Allegory. Thursday—The Revelation in Intercession. Friday—The World Commission.

In the evenings his well attended lectures treated 'of “The Bible—Some Reconsiderations,” under the follow­ ing titles: Monday-—The Romance of the Bible. Tuesday—Approach to the Bible, False and True. Wednesday—The Study of the Bible. During the week following the Anniversary meeting, Dr. J. Stuart Holden conducted a continuing series of Bible Conference sessions, stressing throughout the neces­ sity of a life conforming in outward expression to every Christian profession. In both his morning and evening studies Dr. Holden searched deeply into the motivating impulses of his hear­ ers, and carried them to a high ".¡plane of Christian living. These two Bible Conferences were made a means of rich blessing to the multitudes who wete privileged to hear these great champions of evangelical truth, Never has the Pacific Coast been favored with messages better calculated to strengthen the faith of Christians. The eager response on the part of those attending was most gratifying, surpassing all expectations. Thursday—What the Bible Claims for Itself. Friday—The Harmony of the Testaments.
