Diocese of Bath & Wells - Head of Property & Glebe Land

Introduction

Dear Applicant, Thank you for taking the time to find out more about the appointment of the Head of Property and Glebe Land at the Diocese of Bath & Wells. Extending across Somerset and North Devon including Bath, Wells, Exmoor, Taunton, Yeovil, Bridgwater and surrounding areas, the Diocese of Bath & Wells operates across 477 parishes. The Diocese incorporates a portfolio of over 3,000 acres of glebe land and more than 300 buildings including an investment portfolio (residential and commercial) and operational residential assets. As the Head of Property and Glebe Land, you will be responsible for a team of up to eight staff including the Property Manager (Diocesan Surveyor), support staff who oversee the day-to-day management of the housing portfolio including planned maintenance and reactive repairs of around 250 clergy homes and the facilities co-ordinator and staff who take care of the diocesan office at Flourish House. I hope that the following information provides greater detail regarding the Head of Property and Glebe Land appointment and look forward to receiving your application.
