“A” Safety Grade from The Leapfrog Group Boston Medical Center was granted an “A” grade for Hospital Safety by the national nonprofit The Leapfrog Group. The Leapfrog group’s mission is to uphold and advance patient safety, and an “A” grade is their highest safety distinction.

ASHE 2024 FM Excellence Award Boston Medical Center Health System was awarded the 2024 FM Excellence Award for excellence in health care facility management by American Society for Health Care Engineering (ASHE) for “extraordinary efforts” in developing the Brockton (Mass.) Behavioral Health Center. ASHE is a professional membership group of the American Hospital Association (AHA) that recognizes professionals devoted to designing, building, maintaining, and operating hospitals and other healthcare facilities.

AHA 2024 Foster G. McGaw Prize Boston Medical Center was named winner of the 2024 Foster G. McGaw Prize by the American Hospital Association (AHA) for outstanding effort in improving access to high-quality health care in underserved areas and developing innovative partnerships with local community organizations. The AHA is the leading voice for advocacy in hospitals and health systems in the United States, and the Foster G. McGaw prize recognizes exceptional commitment to community health and innovation in addressing societal factors impacting health outcomes.
