1 Read the text and underline key words. Pozole is a traditional stew from Mexico. It has been eaten since pre-Hispanic times. It is made with dried maize and pork meat. It is usually seasoned with cabbage, onion, radishes, avocado, and chili pepper. It is a typical dish in dierent states as Guerrero, Jalisco, Nayarit, and Sinaloa. Each state prepares it dierently. It is served in celebrations such as Independence Day, Christmas, birthdays, etc.

Review The aim of this section is to have students perform communicative activities in teams or pairs so they can practice the skills they learned during the unit. It is a great opportunity to give individualized support to struggling students. Another useful strategy is to promote tutoring between pairs, so advanced students may help their classmates.
