AIR CONTROL CONTROL DAMPERS AND BACKDRAFT DAMPERS Air control dampers regulate airflow through ductwork by opening and closing their blades. They feature automatic air control and manual balancing for low- to high-pressure and velocity applications. Backdraft dampers allow airflow in only one direction, preventing unwanted outside air and wind from entering the building, plenum, or built-up unit. CONTROL DAMPERS Control dampers are an integral part of every HVAC system. They are positioned manually or automatically to control air volume, pressure and temperature throughout the air handling system.
