Choose the best name of the exhibit. Ask students to read the descriptions again and find if all the toys are old, for boys, or from around the world. This is a good opportunity to discuss gender stereotypes, and to encourage students to try all kinds of toys before making up their mind about them. 4. Underline the main ideas related to the topic of the exhibit. Ask students to underline the phrases related to the title around the world. This is basically the first sentence in each text. Ask students where each toy is from. 5. Find words in the text with the same meanings as the words below. Tell each other examples of things you know made from each material. Ask students to work in pairs to look for the words in the text and use their glossaries to help them. You can point to examples in your immediate environment to help check students’ understanding and ask students to spell each word as you write it on the board. Then ask students to continue working in pairs to come up with examples of things made from each material. Elicit ideas and make a mind map on the board.
