MINI TAP Tiptoe, tap, and make some happy noise! This introductory tap class is designed especially for our youngest dancers who are just beginning their tap journey. Through simple steps, fun rhythms, and creative movement, dancers will learn basic tap skills while improving coordination, listening skills, and confidence. This class is all about having fun, exploring sound, and falling in love with dancing one tap at a time! HIP HOP Time to get in the groove! Dancers will learn creative and energetic moves that are sure to impress. Dancers’ will work on their rhythm and musicality to help them achieve that hip hop feel and groove in the pocket of the music. Dancers will learn how to hit hard along with smooth movements to flow with the music. Song content and age appropriateness are carefully considered. Dancers will learn how to hold pom poms and do basic motions. You will start to combine motions with choreography. You will be introduced to kicks technique. DANCE PRIVATE LESSONS
Passes can be purchased for the following fees:
INDIVIDUAL LESSONS: 1-4 lessons are $30/hour for residents ($45 for non-residents) DISCOUNTED RATE*: 5 or more lessons are $25/hour for residents ($38 for non-residents) GROUP PRIVATE LESSONS (2-3 people who are working on the same skills): 1-4 lessons are $30/hour for residents ($45 for non-residents) DISCOUNTED RATE*: 5+ lessons are $20/hour for residents ($33 for non-residents)
AGE: 6-16 Lessons will be tailored to what your child wants/needs. Private lessons are limited based on staff availability and facility space. Fill out the private lesson form at the front desk and make the payment, get your child's picture taken for their private lesson pass card, and then you will be contacted via email to set up dates and times.
