FALL REVOLUTION GIRLS SOFTBALL LEAGUE
AGE: 5-10 Designed for girls ages 5–10, our in-house Softball League is the perfect place to begin or continue their softball journey. Whether your child is picking up a glove for the first time or building on existing skills, this program welcomes all experience levels. With a focus on fun, fundamentals, and confidence- building, players will develop essential softball skills while learning the value of teamwork and good sportsmanship. The season includes 8 practices and 6 games, ensuring every participant receives equal playing time and a positive, encouraging experience on the field. The two divisions are Coach Pitch and Kid Pitch. Coach Pitch will be ruled by coaches and Kid Pitch will have umpires. Each player will need to provide their own glove and batting helmet. • Practices: Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday: 5:30-7:30pm • One practice each week for one hour • Games: Thursday start time between 5:30-7:30pm • One game each week • Games canceled on Thursday will be made up the following Saturday. • Practice/game times may vary upon program registration and coach availability. • Start and end dates are weather pending. • No Practice/Games on September 7 • Uniforms: Players receive one jersey, hat, pants & socks COACH PITCH FEE: $105R / $130NR MIN/MAX: 33/48 CODE DATE AGE TIME DAY(S) 1162001-A 8/17 - 10/17 5-7 5:30PM-7:30PM MON, TUE, WED, SAT
AGE: 11-16 SWS Fast Pitch League Tryouts may be required based on the number of registrants. VOLUNTEER COACHES NEEDED! Volunteer coaches are an integral part of our athletic leagues and coaching clinics will be available to new and returning coaches. If you are interested in being a head or assistant coach, please email the Athletic Supervisor: vhughes@romeoville.org * The Village of Romeoville Department of Parks and Recreation requires all volunteer coaches to be subject to a criminal background check. Passage of this background check is required before participating as a volunteer coach. The Department also reserves the right to decline the services of a volunteer coach at any time for any reason, including but not limited to noncompliance with applicable Village ordinances or policies, or applicable state law.
