ADULT ADVANCED PICKLEBALL CLINIC
L earn to play Pickleball, one of the fastest growing sports in the Country! The rules are simple and it’s an easy game to learn all the basics! Pickleball combines the elements of tennis, badminton, and ping-pong, yet is played on a modified court. Class will be instructed by Kurt Ballack, certified Pickleball instructor through PPR training and USAPA. Participants will be instructed on the basic rules of the game, fundamentals, internal components within the game and how proper footwork improves your ability to make returns consistently. Balance techniques and tools to improve your agility on the court will also be covered, along with dinking mechanics, stance, positioning, and decision making! Participants will also learn proper grip, serving, service receive, and game play! At the conclusion of the class, players will know how to go a bit beyond the basics to help kick start their capabilities to be competitive from the first serve! Proper court shoes are required, and participants should provide their own paddle! Class will take place at Village Park Tennis Courts! PICKLEBALL CLUB GRAB YOUR PADDLE AND JOIN THE FUN! All pickleball players are invited to come out and play at the outdoor Village Park Tennis Courts located behind the Recreation Center. Courts 1–3 will be reserved just for pickleball, making it the perfect place to meet other players, get in a few games, and enjoy some friendly competition. Pickleball Club Details DATE: May 5 – August 27 (No Pickleball Club on August 6) DAYS: Tuesday & Thursday TIME: 5:00PM – 9:00PM AGE: All LOCATION: Village Park Tennis Courts (behind the Rec Center) FEE: Free, No registration required JUST SHOW UP, BRING YOUR PADDLE, AND JUMP INTO THE ACTION.
