CUSTOM CARD MAKING Are you tired of paying for expensive greeting cards? Learn to make your own! In this class you’ll learn a card making techniques and create a variety of cards you’ll want to share with family and friends. Cards will be various sizes and sentiments. All supplies are included with program fee. In this relaxed, instructor-led workshop, participants will learn how to create a beautiful nautical- themed watercolor painting—perfect for capturing the breezy charm of the season. Bring your own favorite wine and snacks to enjoy while you paint (must be 21+). No prior art experience is needed—just a willingness to unwind, sip, and let your creativity flow. Please note: Participants may bring a maximum of two (2) eligible alcoholic beverages for personal consumption during the program. Eligible alcoholic beverages are limited to 12 ounce cans of beer, 200 ml or less single servings of wine, or 12 ounce cans of premixed cocktails. All eligible alcoholic beverages must be unopened and in the original manufacturer container. Alcohol may only be consumed during the scheduled program time or must be disposed of before leaving the Recreation Center premises. The hosting organization is not responsible for the actions of individuals before, during, or after the event. Participants are expected to drink responsibly. SIP & SCRIPT - MODERN CALLIGRAPHY CLASS Learn modern calligraphy in this fun, beginner-friendly 1.5- hour workshop using a pointed dip pen and ink. This class is encouraged for someone who has never taken a calligraphy class before. We teach the basics, and our expectation for you is to have ink flowing through your nib with enough confidence to be able to practice way beyond class. You’ll leave ready to add beautiful lettering to cards, décor, and more. Registration includes a beginner calligraphy kit (two nibs, black ink pot, two letter guides, tracing paper, straight pen holder) plus all writing materials—everything is yours to keep. Lefties welcome! Participants ages 16 and under may register but must be accompanied by a registered adult and should be comfortable being around others who may consume alcohol.
