We were invited by one of my father’s coworkers to dinner at his home. He was Mexican but was married to a Japanese woman. They explained to us some other customs when we got there. When you enter a house, you need to take off your shoes. They have slippers for everyone at the doorway . Also, you must arrive on time. Traf c is no excuse to be late!
