With your team, reread the narrations and find expressions narrators used to describe the following emotions, and look for synonyms or words related in meaning as in the example. Use them to fill in the graphic organizer. You may draw students’ attention to the graphic organizer and read the titles in each of the circles. To check, draw the graphic organizer on the board and invite volunteers to write their answers. Finally, have students compare expressions narrators used to describe the same emotions. Ask students to get into groups of five and write down greeting expressions they remember from this year and past years (greetings is a topic they learn since first grade). Discuss in plenary. Then, have them close their books and ask if anyone remembers the greeting expression the commentator uses. Product: Narration In this lesson, students will write questions that will guide them to describe an event on the sports they chose. Organize the class into pairs, read the instruction aloud, and suggest that they take the questions provided in Activity 2 as models. Monitor to offer help if required. This activity will be your second evidence in this unit; ask students to file it following the procedure you prefer.
