Melaleuca just finished hosting a corporate Fast Track with thousands of Marketing Executives checking in daily and accomplishing their goals. Though the corporate Fast Track ended in April, many Marketing Executives are using the lessons they learned to continue growing their businesses better than ever before. Leadership in Action reached out to six of those Marketing Executives for advice on maintaining Fast Track momentum and staying connected to their goals—all summer long. thefasttrackmomentum

Q. What are some of the biggest takeaways from participating in the 2019 Fast Track?

“Fast Track is one of the most critical activities. It is what keeps the whole machine working,” Executive Director Judith Grant says. “It’s what keeps us focused on our goals. We could want something so badly, but if we’re not focused, before we know it, we’re out of the driver’s seat.

We get in the passenger seat and we’re letting other things drive our goals and our dreams—not necessarily in the direction we want them. Fast Track keeps you in the driver’s seat. It keeps you looking through the front windshield at where you’re going and not looking through the rearview mirror at what didn’t work. Fast Track keeps you committed to yourself and committed to the other people on your team. If you want to be in the driver’s seat of your business, you’ve got to be part of Fast Track.” “What I learned from Fast Track is that it’s a little harder than you think to do the daily activities,” Corporate Director 4 Erin Clark explains. “Those who did the Seven Critical Business-Building Activities every single day since Fast Track started are going on a cruise or going to Hawaii. They’ve made it. Because of Fast Track, we know we can’t take the summer off. It’s consistency

that pays off. You might not be working your business eight hours a day. And that’s okay. Just set aside time each day to do the Seven Critical Business-Building Activities.” “I used to spend so much time looking for the next person to approach instead of being prepared to talk to people all the time,” Director 5 Melissa Klinkner says. “When the 2019 Fast Track was announced, I didn’t think there was any way I could get 20 enrollments. But there were so many people encouraging me, I joined a team. Most of us were new, but we just said ‘Let’s go for it! Whether we win Hawaii or not, let’s do this.’ We proved to ourselves that we can be just as successful as everyone we’ve been admiring. If we do the work, we can do what they do. It’s not who you are—it’s what you do and how you do it. It’s using the tools you have and staying consistent.”

“DON’T MISS OUT ON THE NEXT FAST TRACK! EVEN IF THERE ISN’T A FAST TRACK GOING, FIND ACCOUNTABILITY PARTNERS. PUT SOMETHING IN PLACE SO YOU WILL KEEP YOUR FEET TO THE FIRE.”
