Bede’s Graphic Design Academy offers students the opportunity to explore the world of visual communication through hands-on projects and expert guidance. Students will learn the fundamentals of design, including typography, layout, colour theory, and digital tools to create stunning graphics. Whether aspiring to work in advertising, media, or digital arts, this academy will help students develop skills that will set them up for success in the design industry.
OBJECTIVES
• To introduce students to the fundamental principles of graphic design, including typography, composition, and colour theory, through practical exercises and projects • To teach students how to use industry-standard design software, such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign, for creating professional- level designs • To develop students’ creative problem-solving skills by challenging them to design solutions for real-world visual communication problems • To encourage collaboration and teamwork through group projects that simulate professional design workflows and client relationships • To provide students with a strong understanding of design trends and the ability to adapt to evolving industry demands, helping them stay current and innovative • To build a professional portfolio that showcases students’ best work, preparing them for future opportunities in graphic design education or careers.
