Hello from Malone Family Dentistry!
is evident in every patient interaction. Beyond the dental chair, he finds joy in spending time with his family and looking forward to snowboarding and learning how to play golf in Malone. A fourth- degree black belt in Taekwondo, Dr. Lew has shared his expertise by teaching martial arts in his hometown of Montreal, Canada. As a proud Canadian, he embraces winter by hitting the mountain slopes with his snowboard.
First, we’d like to thank Dr. Kevin and Mindy Poupore for inviting us to include a message in this newsletter to introduce ourselves to their patients and the Malone community. We’re excited and deeply honored to carry on Dr. Poupore’s tradition of exceptional care, and we look forward to meeting and serving everyone! We are a young family with two small children: Felix, who is less than a year old, and Kayla, who is almost 5. As we share a profession and work in the same business, the support and togetherness we share at home must also be felt in the office and through our experiences with patients. When you live in a big city, it’s rare for people to talk to each other and maintain neighborhood bonds. We were looking for a tight-knit community, and Malone was the perfect place! Although we’ve only lived here for a short time, it already feels like home and family to us. How We Got Here Last September, Dr. Lew traveled to Malone from New York City to meet with Dr. Poupore after learning of the opportunity to purchase his business. He enjoyed the experience so much and had such a great time in town that he soon planned a second trip with Dr. Seon and the kids in tow. From the moment we met with Dr. Poupore, we were struck by his level of dentistry and training and his staff’s expertise and professionalism. Most importantly, everyone there made us feel welcome! It didn’t take us long to decide to move forward with taking over the business — and things moved quickly from there. We officially moved to Malone in early March, and the closing occurred later that month. As we settle in, we’ve grown even more excited and thankful to live in Malone. We’re enjoying our lives in such a close-knit town without the fast pace of city life. Perhaps best of all, being here makes it easier for Dr. Lew to visit his sister, who lives in Montreal.

About Dr. Seon Dr. Yoon Seon is a highly skilled and compassionate clinician who is excited to bring her expertise to the Malone community, where she looks forward to helping create beautiful, healthy smiles for her patients. Before joining the Malone community, she served as a clinical faculty member at the renowned
New York University College of Dentistry, where she mentored dental students and cultivated her passion for education and professional development in the field. Her experience at NYU deepened her expertise in the latest dental techniques and practices and reinforced her commitment to staying at the forefront of advancements in dental care, which she now applies to her patients. Recognizing the importance of community health promotion, Dr. Seon furthered her education by pursuing a degree in public health, broadening her ability to impact community health positively.
