Potomac Eagle Scenic Railroad e Potomac Eagle Scenic Railroad has expanded its services to oer more variety and enjoyment while remaining a favorite tourist destination. Your journey begins at the Wappocomo Station located in Romney, West Virginia. e Trough Tour takes you on a 3-hour round- trip excursion along the South Branch of the Potomac River. Oered every weekend beginning in May, you’ll enter a visually striking gorge known as e Trough, a 6-mile long steep, narrow

canyon. e Trough area provides the perfect home to the American Bald Eagle which was adopted as our national symbol in 1782. Featured trips once a month: Sunset Trough Excursion, All-Day Petersburg Trip, and Green Spring Special (advanced reservations strongly recommended).

Four classes of service are now o ered on all excursions:

Superior Dining – for passengers 13 and up, this option oers an upgraded 4-course meal served on C&O Railroad china in a luxurious, climate-controlled setting complete with restored love-seats or tables. Premium Dining – oers a 3-course meal service in our upgraded vintage dining cars and is also climate- controlled. Standard Dining – provides passengers with a

boxed lunch in our open air table cars. e windows open to the fresh mountain air in the warmweather, adding to the all-encompassing scenic experience. Standard Coach – is the perfect class for families or groups, offering an affordable, comfortable seating option; cushioned, high- back, bench-style seats with reversible backs allow free movement for

passengers to face either direction. A concession car is available to purchase snacks and drinks.
