Track and Field/Cross Country

Grade Levels: 3-12
The proper techniques of running, jumping, and throwing will be introduced in an instructional sequence throughout the week. They will also learn the skills of running, jumping, and speed training in a natural field environment. Information will be supplied on equipment, nutrition, hydration, and weight training to support a complete conditioning program. This camp will take place on a track and a field, so campers should dress accordingly. CAMPERS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR SUPPLYING THEIR OWN SNEAKERS, ATHLETIC CLOTHING, AND WATER BOTTLE.
Volleyball
Location: EHS/JPS
Grade Levels: 5-10
Campers will be instructed on the basics of forearm pass, overhead pass (set) attacking, blocking, serve and serve receive. Players will be taught the most up to date techniques for beginner and advanced volleyball. Advanced players will receive further instruction in: running an offense, read blocking, floor defense, back row attacking, and jump serving. All campers will be trained on injury prevention techniques and strength training. CAMPERS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR SUPPLYING THEIR OWN SNEAKERS, ATHLETIC CLOTHING, KNEE PADS, WATER BOTTLE AND SMALL TOWEL.
