Italy, but in a different way. The familiarity and comfort of Germany was always a welcome reprieve on any international trip. Relaxing that is, until she had to leave these desolate country roads and merge onto the Autobahn. It was not a road race of chaotic drivers but an organized system in which everyone followed the rules of the road. It often took a few minutes to get acclimated to the speed, but once she did, she loved driving in Germany.
