Mama Tried is a boar we committed to as soon as he was settled in and available at Southern Superior SIres. His mother was one of our all-time favorites as a baby and a show gilt and his grandmother (379-12) is currently our most influential sow. Mama Tried is quickly building an impressive resume as a sire. He sired the Reserve Berk Barrow at ‘22 IN State Fair, the Reserve Grand Barrow at ‘22 CO State Fair - both for Goss and just sired the Reserve Berk Barrow at the ‘22 American Royal - bred here. We’ve continued to use him with confidence and firmly believe he adds value as the service sire to the sows offered in this sale.
