• In the ’19 BTB Sale, our good buddy Hilty invested in ½ of 28-8 when she sold as Lot 1. She had just produced the Grand Overall Barrow at OYE and we were pumped to have a partner like Will to take her to the next level. She ended up going to Pennsylvania and over the next several years, she rewarded both firms with sellable barrows and lots of keeper gilts to split. • This sow is a mate to the calico Hilty sold in his bred sale this summer and 41-8 that sold in the ‘22 BTB. • Produced the Reserve Heavy Dark Cross Barrow at ‘22 San Antonio sired by Wags. • One of the last daughters of 28-8 (52-8) on the farm is sired by Kingpin and her resume is growing. • A Kingpin daughter out of 41-8 brought $14,000 in the ‘21 BTB Sale.
