We purchased “Gena” or 24-11, out of the 22’ Spring Showcase back in March. Being sired by Trenches, and her mother being 58-8, who would be the more prolific sister of Goosebumps, we knew we needed to get her bought. In her mom’s first 4 litters she farrowed 52 live pigs. 58-8 is also the mother of SnowGoose and Houdini both at HH. If you are looking for a sow family that not only has lots of high quality pigs, but also raises them, look no further. As a show gilt 24-11, garnered a lot of attention being Grand or Reserve Overall 16x’s on a tough jackpot series. Sidenote, her unique color pattern could provide an opportunity in the Southwest to raise some dirty berks!
