Carnaby Eats

LUNCHT IME

Carnaby is one of those rare places in central London that's full of independent eateries. So whether you’re looking for a delicious snack to grab and go or planning a leisurely lunch hour with friends, an array of unique and delicious cuisine awaits you. You’ll find affordable lunchtime deals ready to pick up and take with you, as well as more elevated spots for catching up with pals. If you were lucky enough to try Imad’s Syrian Kitchen pop-up on Ganton Street last year, you’ll be pleased to know his restaurant is just a stone's throw away from here. On the top floor of Kingly Court, serving Syrian delights including the best hummus and falafel alongside their delicious Mtafayt Bamyeh, this cuisine won’t go amiss at any lunchtime. Peruvian eatery Señor Ceviche makes for a delightfully different dining experience. The restaurant is inspired by the bohemian district of Lima, with stripped-back interiors and colourful Peruvian street art. As well as ceviche (fish cured in fresh citrus juices), you'll find Peruvian BBQ specials like Pachamanca pork ribs and grilled chicken wings. Polpo on Beak Street is a long standing fixture of the area, serving small plates like polpette and octopus salad and cuttlefish in its ink, alongside its famous fritto misto. Does it get better than that? Yes, it does! Kingly Street’s cutest kiosk, Kaleido has got your lunchtime meal covered. If you’re feeling a bit playful, try out its freshly wrapped salad rolls, which are full of flavours from around the world. One to get your hands on is their Parma ham melon and basil pesto roll. Bursting with flavour, this roll gives us real holiday vibes.
