Hosted by the Master and Ian Hay Davison CBE (45-49), who has served as President of the Society since its creation in 2004, this year’s lunch was the most popular to date, with 58 members, guests and staff in attendance. Ohid Yaqub (93-98) Norman Young (Head of Academic Administration) Wessex Dinner, Sherborne School, 27 September 2013 The 38th Old Alleynian Wessex Dinner, organised by Chris Austen (52-58), was held at Sherborne, with dinner in the Old School Room. Twenty-six diners, including guests, enjoyed excellent food, wines and service; and were then addressed by Arnav Kapur, School Vice Captain, Sioban Whitney Low, Director of Development, and the President of the Alleyn Club, Brigadier Johnny Walker OBE DL (51-59). Our venue is capable of accommodating sixty diners – so it would be wonderful to make better use of it in 2014 and ongoing!
