O AUTORZE | ABOUT THE AUTHOR Magdalena Kozioł — rękodzielniczka, z pasją oddająca się tkactwu, haftowi krzyżykowemu oraz kolekcjonowaniu tra- dycyjnych tkanin ludowych. Prowadzi pracownię w sercu Podlasia, gdzie w wolnych chwilach zajmuje się tkaniem i ha- ftowaniem.
Aktywnie dzieli się swoją wiedzą i doświadczeniem z innymi. W listopadzie 2023 roku zrealizowała cykl 10 spotkań z dziećmi w ramach programu „Lekcje z Twórcą Ludowym” organizowanego przez Narodowy Insty- tut Kultury i Dziedzictwa Wsi.
Jest stypendystką Ministra Kultury i Dziedzictwa Narodowego na rok 2024.
W ramach dwuletniego projektu Muzeum Południowego Podlasia w Białej Podlaskiej pt. „Perebory. Odsłony — popularyzacja niematerialnego dziedzictwa kulturowego UNESCO”, dofinansowanego ze środków MKiDN w ramach programu rządowego „Kultura ludowa i tradycyjna”, zajmuje się opracowywaniem i digitalizacją wzorów perebor dostępnych na portalu www.perebory.pl.
Magdalena Kozioł — an artisan devoted to weaving, cross-stitch embroidery, and collecting traditional folk textiles. She runs a workshop in the heart of Podlasie, where she spends her free time weaving and embroidering. She actively shares her knowledge and experience with others. In November 2023, she conducted a series of 10 workshops for children as part of the “Lessons with a Folk Artist” program organized by the National Institute of Rural Culture and Heritage.
She is a recipient of the 2024 Artistic Scholarship from the Minister of Culture and National Heritage.
As part of the two-year project by the Museum of Southern Podlasie in Biała Podlaska, titled “Perebory. Odsłony – Popularization of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of UNESCO” and funded by the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage under the government program “Folk and Traditional Culture”, she is responsible for developing and digitizing perebory patterns available on the portal www.perebory.pl.
