We would always encourage those with mobility problems to travel by car rather than coach, minibus, limo or taxi. There are car parking charges for all racegoers on BetVictor Gold Cup day (£4 in advance or £5 on the day) and at The Festival (£12 per day in advance or £20 per day during the event) when Blue Badge holders will also be charged. Cheltenham Event Mobility Through the Event Mobility Charitable Trust we provide electric scooters and manual wheelchairs for the use of disabled, elderly and mobility impaired visitors to Cheltenham. These can be collected next to the North Entrance. To reserve an electric scooter or manual wheelchair in advance you can book online at eventmobility.org.uk, print out an advance booking form from the website or contact the office on 01386 725391 to request a form to be posted to you.

Cheltenham Racecourse aims to provide an accessible environment for all racegoers, including the elderly, those with young children or people with disabilities. Personal Assistant Admission Provided that you purchase a valid admission ticket for yourself, you are entitled to apply for one complimentary admission ticket for the same event for the person who is accompanying you as a personal assistant. The personal assistant must be able to provide you with appropriate assistance. Eligibility Those who receive one of the following benefits are eligible to apply for a free personal assistant ticket: a. Disability Living Allowance (DLA) b. Attendance Allowance (AA) c. Personal Independence Payment (PIP) d. Armed Forces Independence Payment (AFIP). Additionally people who are Registered Blind are also eligible. Assistance Dogs Assistance dogs are welcome to attend with their owners without additional charge subject to production upon entry of a valid identification document from Assistance Dogs (UK) or an equivalent international organisation. Disabled Car Parking, Coaches and Drop Offs The main parking area for Disabled Car Parking is Red 2 – please follow directional signage. This car park is situated near the steam railway train station and a buggy service operates on all race days between there and the North Entrance. We strongly advise racegoers to arrive early to secure a place in this reserved parking area as once it is full, Blue Badge holders will be parked in alternative locations. The drop-off and pick-up positions are a distance from the entrances and exits of the venue, so please do bear this in mind when DISABLED RADAR KEY TOILETS 1 Level 0: Centaur Main Foyer. All toilets can be accessed using a Radar Key. We recommend that you bring a Radar Key with you – these can be bought online. If you do not hold a Radar Key please ask the nearest steward who will assist you. Disabled Viewing Areas A number of disabled viewing areas are provided at Cheltenham including four in the Club Enclosure, two in the Tattersalls Enclosure and one in the Best Mate Enclosure. Hearing There is an induction loop facility around the auditorium of The Centaur and across all floors of The Princess Royal Stand (near the bars and the Tote outlets). First Aid Points The First Aid Centre is situated above the Pre-Parade Ring behind the Paddock Bar and Terrace. A member of staff will be able to direct you to the building. Where possible, we are happy to make special arrangements and assist with any requirements, but these must be made in advance of a race day.
