Living Wage Employer
Slater Heelis has joined the movement of over 7,000 responsible employers across the UK who voluntarily commit to paying the real Living Wage to our staff and our regular contractors. The real Living Wage is the only rate calculated according to the costs of living. It provides a voluntary benchmark for employers who wish to ensure their staff earn a wage they can live on, not just the government minimum. We are delighted to have been given accreditation as a Living Wage Employer, ensuring wages will never be lower than the independent benchmark set by the Living Wage Foundation. At Slater Heelis, we recognise that paying the real Living Wage is the mark of a responsible employer.
The Coronavirus pandemic has had a profound impact on the way we work and engage in business. A majority of our employees started working from home, and most haven’t looked back. We embrace this change as it empowers our staff in allowing them to work where and how is most suited for them.
