GROUNDS The early part of this week will be cold enough to allow for transplanting trees from our nursery. In addition, ground conditions are hard enough with the frost layer to allow heavy machinery to install larger trees with a 96 inch tree spade. More tree work will occur in terms of tree pruning in the orchard. This is a several week process that will be wrapped up by the end of the month. Milder temperatures are in play for the latter part of the week and we are anticipating beginning an improvement to the forward tee on 8 North. Presently, there is only about 100 square feet of usable teeing ground, with remaining short turf unusable due to the left side of the tee sloughing downward towards the cart path. This should be a relative quick and seamless project with a great outcome. We are conducting our first Fitting Day of 2024 next Saturday, March 2, in the Indoor Golf Studio from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. A Titleist Master Fitter will be present with a full offering of the Titleist product line.
