WEEK OF SEPTEMBER 16 TO 22, 2012

THE LUCKIEST SIGNS THIS WEEK: AQUARIUS, PISCES, AND ARIES.

Turkey Meatball Soup

ARIES This is the perfect time to make some lifestyle changes. As you eat better and exercise regularly, you will finally see some encouraging results that will help you to persevere. TAURUS One of your friends will inspire you to get involved in some kind of adventure. This is great: you need a good dose of adren- aline that will get you out of your routine and make you come alive. GEMINI This week your leadership skills will shine. Even if you’re worried it will bring criti- cism, you will feel compelled to make yourself heard and express your opinions with a certain amount of authority. CANCER You’d really like to go shopping in order to treat yourself. Don’t resist the tempta- tion for long, especially if there are some wardrobe items you need. LEO If there is something that needs fixing up at home, take the necessary time to cor- rect the situation once and for all. This is the perfect time as well to freshen up your décor. VIRGO There’s a chance your car will break down soon, so be sure to have it checked thor- oughly. The same thing could happen to your telephone and computer, so be pre- pared and charge your batteries. LIBRA An active social life leads to some unfore- seen expenses. Try to make a more pre- cise budget and follow it. Money will also be an issue at work this week. SCORPIO You will be given new, demanding respon- sibilities at the office. You will need to be patient and persevering to accomplish all your obligations within the deadline. SAGITTARIUS You might not sleep well for a few nights. To better deal with your racing thoughts, look for ways to expend your excess energy. CAPRICORN You might decide to make some changes in your circle of friends, especially the ones who seem to drain your energy. AQUARIUS You must be more disciplined and lay down a few basic rules if you have young children. Some people who are close to you will need to be handled carefully. PISCES You will probably have to deal with some people at work in a language that you are not fluent in. There could be a delay in receiving a package from abroad.

A good soup does wonders after an outing in the woods or a day on the slopes. This recipe is not only original but very comforting. It could well become a family tradition for cold winter days! INGREDIENTS: • 454 g (1 lb) of raw minced turkey • 60 ml (1/4 cup) breadcrumbs • 1 egg • 15 ml (1 soup spoon) parsley • 2.5 ml (1/2 tsp) fresh thyme, chopped • Pinch of garlic powder • 5 ml (1 tsp) fresh oregano, chopped or 2.5 ml (1/2 tsp) dried oregano • Salt and pepper • 1 litre (4 cups) of turkey stock • 500 ml (2 cups) spinach, coarsely chopped • 60 ml (1/4 cup) grated parmesan

PUZZLE NO. 365

DIRECTIONS: Place the turkey, breadcrumbs, egg, seasonings, salt and pepper in a bowl. Mix well and make into balls. Preheat the oven to 180 ºC (350 ºF). Cook the meatballs for 30 min- utes on a cookie sheet. In a casserole, bring the stock to a boil, add the spinach, cover and boil for 5 minutes. HOW TO PLAY: Fill in the grid so that every row, every column, and every 3x3 box contains the numbers 1 through 9 only once. Each 3x3 box is outlined with a darker line. You already have a few numbers to get you started. Remember: You must not repeat the numbers 1 through 9 in the same line, column, or 3x3 box .
