BARSTOW UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT SITE EVENTS Aztecs Wrestlers Qualify for CIF Masters Tournament
Congratulations to our Barstow HIgh School Boys’ and Girls’ Wrestlers who competed at the CIF Wrestling Individuals on February 13 and 14. A total of six wrestlers, two girls, Jovel Blaine and Kayla Stephens, pictured above right, and four boys, Xavian Mack, Leonidas Nava, Marcos Nava and Maximo Nava, qualified for the CIF Masters, held February 20 and 21. Top finishers at the Masters will move on to the CIF State Championships in Bakersfield. LET’S GO AZTECS!
Barstow High School Peer Counselors hosted a Self-Care Fair on Valentine’s Day. The event promotes mental, physical, and emotional well-being.
A group of Barstow Junior High School students, recently visited Barstow Community College. Our Hawks checked out classrooms, the Performing Arts Center, the Learning Resource Center and the college’s CTE classrooms and workspaces. Thank you to BCC for welcoming our students and sharing the many opportunities available to them in Barstow. SOAR HAWKS!
Barstow High School, Home of the Aztecs, welcomes the Class of 2030 to Freshman Parent Night on March 9, 2026, at 5:30 p.m. in the Don Bilsborough Gym at BHS. Families will be able to meet their child's counselor and learn about the many exciting educational and extra-curricular activities available to students at BHS.
