The Biola bus is a familiar sight (rain or shine!) transporting students to outreach assignments in the Los Angeles area.

In that moment of supreme love displayed on the cross, God the Father had to turn His back upon His own Son. There at Calvary, Jesus tasted Hell for you and me. This is how much God loves us. Look to the cross and marvel at the extent of God's love. If you are uncertain of your salvation, look to the cross and find there all that God has done to redeem you from sin. If you are discouraged, look to the cross and see the heighth and depth of Christ's love. If you are away from Christ and do not believe, you must also look to the cross to find there the One who died to bear the penalty of

God's justice against you as a sin­ ner. Whatever your state may be, spiritually speaking, look to the cross! There is a magnificent trans­ porting from earth to glory in the majestic exaltation of our Saviour as found in Philippians 2:9-11. The statements to be found in this pas­ sage cover many of the great doc­ trines concerning our wonderful Lord. We see Him first as eternal Son of God brought to His sacrific­ ial death on the cross. The climax of this event finds its culmination in receiving the name which is above all others. Paul writes, "Wherefore God also hath highly exalted Him Page 39
