and whatever he does shall pros per. The ungodly are not like this, but rather are like the chaff which the wind drives away. Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the con gregation of the righteous. For the Lord is knowing and approving the way of the righteous: but the way of the ungodly shall perish."
value as a match. But the elements are certainly still here. Gas has been a result. Vapor has been a result. The charcoal has been a result. All of these things occur in the activity of burning the match. Energy has resulted but the matter is still there. Charles Haddon Spurgeon makes a good point on the subject ob serving, "The righteous carves his name upon the Rock but the wick ed writes his remembrance in the sand." Yes, to perish means to be destroyed or to be ruined. We have all of eternity facing us. What kind of justification have we be fore God? Do you fully realize what eternity means? The human mind cannot begin to fathom just exactly what it is like. Perhaps one small illustration would be helpful. Consider an immense glacier, larg er than any ice mass man has ever discovered. We cannot even imag ine such a huge mountain of ice. Suppose the glacier begins to thaw out at the rate of one drop of water every thousand years. By the time the entire glacier has evaporated, one drop every thou sand years, eternity would just barely have started. That is what eternity is like, compared to time. And what kind of an investment are you making for the future as far as your soul's own eternal wel fare is concerned? Let me share it again, "Blessed is the man who does not walk in the counsel of the ungodly, nor stand in the way of sinners, nor sit in the seat of the scornful. But his delight is in the law of the Lord and in his law does he meditate day and night. He shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that brings forth his fruit in his sea son; his leaf also shall not wither;
