Tile is a leading, East Coast wholesale distributor of spe- cialty tiles and supplies. Fam- ily-owned, with more than 100 employees, the company’s e-commerce business offers product through many of the nation’s largest home goods and home improvement web- sites, as well as through hun- dreds of retail locations. “This transaction is particu- larly reflective of multiple real estate and related trends,” Glick said. “Right now, there’s intense demand for warehouse space across central New Jer- sey. In addition, the pandemic has prompted many home- owners to initiate residential improvement projects that happen to require exactly the products that Merola sells. In short, this is exactly the right deal, in exactly the right place, at exactly the right time.” Centrally located in Mon- mouth County, the industrial property is only minutes from Rtes. 33, 79, 9, 18, and 195. In addition, it’s less than a five- mile drive from the Garden State Pkwy., and is only 20 minutes from the New Jersey Tpke. “This is pretty much the definition of a prime location,” Glick adds. “It’s surrounded by a variety of other businesses, is about a 30-minute drive from NYC, and offers extra land that provides an oppor- tunity for expansion.” A 4,045 s/f space in an East Brunswick office park at 213 Summerhill Rd. has been leased to the Oral Surgery Group, by the Summerhill Group. The transaction was managed by Sheldon Gross Realty executive vice presi- dent Jonathan Glick . The Oral Surgery Group has additional offices in New Brunswick and Middlesex. Its team of five board-certified oral surgeons performs a full range of oral and maxillofacial procedures . “For this surgery practice, the East Brunswick space is an ideal fit,” said Glick. “Lo- cated in a thriving office park where most other tenants are healthcare-related, and with quick access to the area’s major roadways, it’s difficult to imagine a better place for a team of oral surgeons to put out their shingle.” Other tenants include an ambulatory surgery center and a physical rehabilitation practice.
