Kislakpresents 2020 sales awards and promotions

Keefer is owner/president & Baldo joins firm as VP Hinerfeld Commercial Real Estate hands off ownership

CRANTON, PA — Hin- erfeld Commercial Real Estate announced the succession in ownership of the company and the con- tinuance of over 87 years of high-quality service to the real estate industry in Northeast- ern PA. Longtime owner/prin- ciple/broker of record John Cognetti will be handing off ownership/president duties to veteran Hinerfeld CRE associate Colin G. “Griff” Keefer /president- CEO, while Anthony Baldo will join the firm as vice president - broker of record. Keefer and Baldo are seasoned, experienced mem- bers of the Northeastern PA commercial real estate com- munity and bring substantial commercial real estate broker- age, property management, and business management skills to their roles. Cognetti will continue on with Hiner- feld Commercial Real Estate in an active role in brokerage as an associate broker, and a member of the board of direc- tors of the firm. was also the recipient of this award in 2018 and Kislak’s 2019 Producer of the Year award and 2015 Rookie of the Year award. He specializes in the sale of multifamily and other investment properties in central New Jersey and eastern Pennsylvania. During the awards ceremony, Lupo was also promoted to a senior VP. The Transactions award is presented to the individual who closed the most transactions during the past year. Wisniews- ki also had a strong 2020 and was the recipient of this award for the fourth consecutive year. In 2020, he closed more than 30 lease and sales transactions in New Jersey including the sale of seven acres for warehouse development at the Flemington Trade Center in Flemington, a large lease expansion/extension for a trade association in Jersey City, and an AllegraWarehouse lease renewal in Cranbury. Throughout his career, Wis- niewski has leased or sold more than eight million s/f of commercial space and well over 1,500 acres of land and is actively growing Kislak’s presence in the New Jersey commercial real estate market. During the awards ceremony, three other promotions were announced. Barry Waisbrod was pro- moted to an executive VP. He joined Kislak in 2001 and is consistently among the firm’s leading salespeople. Waisbrod specializes in the sale of invest- ment properties in and around New Jersey. He received the firm’s Sima Kislak Jelin Sales- person of the Year award in 2019, 2015 and 2013. Michael Kossak was promot- ed to a VP. He joined Kislak in 2016, is among the firm’s next generation of rising salespeople and specializes in the sale of investment properties in Essex County, New Jersey. Thomas Scatuorchio was promoted to a VP. He joined Kislak in 2016 and specializes in the sale of multifamily and other investment properties in Morris and Essex counties. WOODBRIDGE, NJ — The Kislak Company, Inc. an- nounced the recipients of its 2020 sales awards along with four promotions at the firm’s annual awards ceremony, which was held virtually on January 11, 2020. VP Matt Wolf received the producer of the Year award, senior VP Justin Lupo re- ceived the Sima Kislak Jelin Salesperson of the Year award and executive VP Peter Wis- niewski received the Transac- tions award. “2020 was an extraordinarily challenging year in many re- spects yet we were fortunate to end the year strongly” said Robert Holland, president. “Our awards recipients along with many other members of our sales team rose to the chal- lenges we faced, persevered and closed many impressive deals throughout a volatile year.” Kislak’s Producer of the Year award is presented to the in- dividual who generated the highest sales volume during the past year. Wolf had a remark- able 2020 closing several mul- tifamily sales in Pennsylvania valued at nearly $100 million and included more than 1,100 units. Wolf is a Certified Com- mercial Investment Member and also holds a Pennsylvania broker’s license. The Sima Kislak Jelin Sales- person of the Year award is presented to the individual whose performance and profes- sionalism during the past year demonstrated the highest stan- dards of excellence for which Kislak is known. The recipient is chosen by a vote of the sales and management teams, and the award is named after the late Mrs. Jelin, who was an executive, key mentor, and mo- tivator to countless salespeople; and the daughter of the firm’s founder, J.I. Kislak. Lupo also had a strong year and was the deserved recipient of the prestigious award. His 2020 transactions included the $50 million sale of three proper- ties with 324 units and land to building 69 units in New Jersey and Pennsylvania for an I.R.C. Section 1031 exchange. Lupo
