Size: 8.25 Acres In northern New Jersey’s hyper-competitive industrial real estate market, finding prime last-mile development opportunities is difficult. However, NAI James E. Hanson’s local market knowledge and experience allowed them to identify an opportunity to acquire an 8.25-acre future development site in the heart of the market on behalf of their client, CenterPoint Properties. Negotiated by NAI Hanson’s Christopher Todd, Scott Perkins, SIOR, Russell Verducci, SIOR, and Eric Demmers, the acquisition will allow CenterPoint to expand their footprint in the red-hot northern New Jersey industrial market through the delivery of a Class A industrial facility geared to the needs of modern industrial users.
Size: 134 acres Over a 13-month period, D2 worked with local officials and engineers to design and plan the community of 292 single family homes. D2 coordinated all entitlements sold the approved subdivision to Freeman Homes. D2 also voluntarily spent $350,000 for an archaeological study to search for and preserve any Native American or Colonial artifacts. Although no major artifacts were found. D2 prides itself on going above and beyond local and state requirements when developing a new subdivision. The sale continues D2’s successful investment into Sussex County which includes over 1000 approved lots in one of the hottest residential markets in the country.
