Our Goals… When Mathias Ranch began more than 20 years ago, it was with a dream: to build a high-caliber herd with exceptional traits. From the start, we learned that superior genetics are the foundation of a stronger, more consistent herd. Today, we continue to invest in that vision through advanced tools like AI, embryo transfer and genomic evaluation. Our Foundation… Our program began with donor acquisitions like Bieber CL Adelle 575D, the dam of Bieber CL Energize F121, one of the breed’s most widely used sire in recent years, and granddam of Bieber Jumpstart J137, a Select Sires standout. Another key donor, Brown MS Fran- chise F942 (“Goldilocks”), sets herself apart with unmatched feed efficiency and a 114 MPPA on five natural calves. Our first major herd sire, LSF BJR High Voltage 1803J, has been a game-changer, driving performance and genetic progress across our herd. Our Teamwork... Mathias Ranch values teamwork and experience. General Manager Toby Lester, with a master’s degree in Animal Science and over 30 years of breeding and evaluation expertise, and Herdsman Kyle Kennedy, whose Animal Science background has been a great asset, provide the knowledge and dedication that drive our program forward.
