Calls for Service
The following chart identifies Priority 1, 2, and, 3 calls for service (2012-2016) where an officer arrived on scene.

Definitions for priority one, two, and three calls for service:
Priority One (P1) – Calls by their nature or circumstances that pose an immediate threat to human life (i.e. Person with a Gun/Weapon, Robbery in Progress, Burglary in Progress, Fight in Progress, etc.). Priority Two (P2) – Calls that do not meet the criteria for priority one, but by their nature also require an immediate response (Auto Accident w/injuries, Burglary Alarms, etc.). Priority Three (P3) – Calls that do not meet the criteria for priority one or two, and any delay sustained is unlikely to create an adverse effect (Burglary Motor Vehicle, Burglary Coin Operated Machine, Abandoned Property, Loud music calls, etc.). Overall, the total number of calls for service to which an officer arrived at the call location declined 3.5 percent since 2012, however Priority 1 calls, the most intricate and time consuming, increased 39.5 percent since 2012 .
