These sessions will cover crucial middle school life science concepts that serve as a foundation for high school biology. With a focus on key topics, the instruction aims to equip incoming freshmen with the necessary skills to excel in the demanding freshman biology course. Financial Literacy
This self-paced course provides students with essential knowledge and skills to make informed financial decisions. Topics include budgeting, saving, investing, credit, banking, taxes, and financial planning. Students will engage in real- world, scenario-based activities and progress through course modules at their own pace. Fulfills the requirement for financial literacy for graduation. Greenhouse Internship

Application Required
This Internship offers students a hands-on opportunity to explore plant science, sustainability, and agricultural practices in a real-world setting. Starting in June, running on Monday and Thursday mornings from 7-9 a.m. students will work directly inside and outside of the greenhouse, gaining practical experience in plant propagation, irrigation systems, soil management, and pest control. Students learn how to grow a variety of food plants—from vegetables to herbs—while developing an understanding of environmental factors. Email Laura.Holborow@edison.k12.nj.us for more information.
